What recognition options are in the program?

There are several components to the CVS Caremark recognition program:

  • Thanks to You!: This is a fun, easy way to share a frequent pat on the back, thumbs up, or thank you for a job well done. You can post a Thanks to You! online to show in the newsfeed (or a card in CVS/pharmacy stores). You can recognize anyone in the company at any level as often as you like with a Thanks to You!
  • Thanks to You! (with points): Leaders who are manager level with direct reports and those above manager level with or without direct reports, can award recognition points to anyone in the company. Recognition points are for going above and beyond our daily job responsibilities and demonstrating of our company values in action. These points are awarded online with a recognition post. Colleagues may accumulate points and redeem them for merchandise, travel vouchers, gift cards, or charity donations. This recognition should be reserved for those special times when a colleague has taken an action that embodies our company values: Innovation, Collaboration, Caring, Integrity, Accountability.
  • Values in Action Breakthrough Award: The Breakthrough Award has changed. You may nominate someone for the award to recognize a notable accomplishment in process improvement, service enhancement, financial savings, or for other notable accomplishments that demonstrated our company values. Nominations are reviewed for approval by the nominated colleague's manager and HR Business Partner. Recipients receive a Breakthrough Award plaque and recognition points. 

Featured on the myRecognition site are:

  • Newsfeed: The Values in Action home page displays a newsfeed of all recognition posts and provides visibility to all the great things CVS Caremark colleagues do.
  • Leader boards: The Values in Action home page prominently displays the names of the top recognized and top recognizers.
